Hand Deliver

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.
— GENESIS 12:2 (NLT)

God has prepared a blessing for you. He is going to use someone to “hand deliver” this awesome gift He has promised you today. You may or may not know this person and you may not be expecting what God has prepared to bless you with, but make no mistake, it’s a blessing from God. And when you receive this blessing, it’s not the end of your story. It’s only the beginning.

God promised to bless you and make your name great, but today’s scripture goes on to reveal that God also wants you to be a blessing. Just like Jesus will use someone to hand deliver His blessing to you, He needs you to hand deliver a blessing to someone too. You don’t have to worry about it taking away from your blessing or your time. God’s already given you exactly what you need to bless someone else. So, when you receive your blessing today, remember it’s not just for you.

You Have Grace

God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.
— ROMANS 5:20 (NLT)

There is nothing you can do that can catch God by surprise. He knows you’re imperfect. He knows that you’re going to make some mistakes. But Jesus can take the mistakes you make in life and catapult you to the place He has destined for you. Your divorce, your failures, your flaws, they cannot keep you from achieving the life has for you. God is bigger than your sin.

When you sin, make mistakes, fall short, Jesus doesn’t push you away. No. That’s when God’s wonderful grace becomes more abundant. He wants you to get back on track. He wants you to make the world’s biggest comeback. And to do that, He gives you His grace. His grace covers your sin. You don’t have to relive your sin and you don’t have to let it hold you back. You have God’s wonderful grace, and it wipes your sin slate clean.

Grace abounds

Be Strong and Courageous

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
— Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)

Life isn’t always what we planned or expected it to be. It can be trying, and the world can be a scary place. When you experience these times, remember you’re not going through them alone. God is always with you and He has promised to never forsake you.

When God tells you to “be strong and courageous,” it’s not a suggestion. He’s telling you to “be” what He’s already created you to be - strong and courageous. Whenever life takes its best swing at you, you don’t have to be afraid or terrified. God, the creator of all things, will never leave you or forsake you. You can stand strong and courageous in the midst of adversity and uncertainty knowing He is in full control. If God allows you to go through it He has something great awaiting for you on the other side of it.

Nothing to fear

Never Be Without

‘I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.’
— 2 CORINTHIANS 6:18 (NLT)

God never wants you to lack in anything. Whatever your life requires, He wants to give to you liberally. Though He is all powerful, creator of the universe, and Savior, the relationship He has with you as your Heavenly Father is most treasured. He calls you son. He calls you daughter. And in this loving kinship you will never be without.

God wants to be your everything. If you need power. If you need courage. If you need comfort. With God as your Father, you will never be without. And just like a good earthly father, when you call God He will always be there for you. He will never be too busy. What you need will never be too small or too big. He’s always right there with you and for you so that you will never be without.

You Have All You Need!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
— ACTS 1:8 (NLT)

Hey! That thing that God is telling you to do... Do it now! How do I know God is telling you to do something? Because He’s always telling us to do something! Now, here’s the thing… the thing He’s telling you to do isn’t for you, but for somebody else. Yep! That’s the thing I’m talking about. And here’s the good thing about it: Whatever God is telling you to do, you already have it to give!

Are You Available.jpg

Jesus has given you the power you need to do whatever He is telling you to do. You only need to do it. You don’t have to understand why He’s telling you to do it or even know the impact it’s going to have on the person He’s asking you to bless. Just know that Jesus knows and that’s all you need to know. By blessing someone else, you are being a witness for Christ. Look for good deeds to do. Be the blessing that God created you to be. Today.

He Gave First

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
— 1 CHRONICLES 29:14 (NLT)

Everything you have belongs to God. He loves you so much that He wants you to have everything you need to live a life of abundance. There’s a chance you may miss out on this terrific blessing if you forget that you cannot obtain on your own what God has already given you first. After all, there’s nothing you can give God because the earth is already His and the fullness thereof.

He Gave First.jpg

When you do good deeds towards people less fortunate than you, don’t expect a badge. When you give your tithes or offering, you aren’t doing God a favor. Everything you have belongs to God. He gave it to you first and He wants you to give to others. He wants you to be a good steward over everything He’s blessed you with. He blesses you to be a blessing to others. He will bless you with more so that you can be more of a blessing to others, not so that you can have more stuff. If you want to enlarge your territory, give from your current territory that God gave you first.
