“And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.”
Love grows. There is no ending to love or capacity for it. It can’t run out, nor was it ever designed to be taken back. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. Keyword there is “more.” Meaning there is more to explore, more to learn, and more to extend. This kind of love can only be explored and learned as we live like Jesus here in this world. It’s not impossible for our love to grow more perfect or for us to live like Jesus. Well, it may be impossible to man, but remember, all things are possible with God. And when we believe this, we can face God with confidence and we will hear Him say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
