“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.”
When you’re facing trouble, it may be difficult to think about what God has planned for you tomorrow while today is doing a good job of kicking you in the butt. The good thing about the trouble you’re experiencing is it’s not bigger than your God. Whatever the situation, God built you to endure it through the strength of Christ. In fact, today’s scripture says you can endure “many” trials. That means you can. And you will. It also says that wonderful joy is ahead. This gives you a reason to be truly glad in the middle of your storm because you know that wonderful joy is ahead if you keep walking in faith with Jesus.

Heavenly Father, what I’m facing isn’t easy, but I can endure it through You. I know there is a wonderful joy ahead and I am truly glad You’re with me in my storm. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
