Trust the Lord

You are reasonable people. Decide for yourselves if what I am saying is true.

Sometimes it’s hard trying to figure out who to trust. You may have had a bad experience by being misled in a church. You may have had family or friends deceive you, and it’s hard for you to trust again. None of these things feel good when they happen, but perhaps I can help free you from your burden. You do not have to put your trust in people. Put your trust in God instead.

I’m not telling you to live a life never having trust in anyone, but I am telling you to trust God to protect you from any weapon formed against you. You cannot prevent nor be held responsible for what people say to you or do to you. The only person you can control is you. Therefore, you have to trust God’s godly protection and keep doing the right thing regardless of your experience. Forgive those who spitefully use you. Love your enemy as yourself. Decide today to rely on Christ and allow Him to fight your battles while you live blessed and in His protected.

Heavenly Father, I trust You, Lord. I know You are always protecting me and that no weapon formed against me will prosper. Today, I will forgive and I choose to trust in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
