“Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck… But I keep praying to You, LORD, hoping this time You will show me favor. In Your unfailing love, O God, answer my prayer with Your sure salvation.”
Last year took everyone by surprise. We made adjustments we never imagined we’d have to make. While some were losing jobs, others were saying goodbye to loved ones. Some looked to politicians and activist for leadership, only to be let down by empty promises and wave riding rhetoric. It seemed like everyone was up to their neck in some form of discomfort, despair, or disbelief. But even in the middle of all the chaos that last year brought, we were not consumed because of God’s favor.

Even if trouble followed you into this year, it’s not more than you can handle. Why? Because you have God’s favor. And His favor opens doors for you that you didn’t know existed. These kinds of blessed doors only appear after you have exercised your faith in God’s plan and withstood the enemy’s trial. Trust that His unfailing love will carry you through every burden and His salvation will answer your prayers during confusing times. God’s favor is about to overtake you and overcome every situation. Have faith and keep following Christ.
