Need a Lift?

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
— JAMES 4:10 (NIV)

To be humble doesn’t mean you allow people to run over you. It also doesn’t mean you keep your head down while the rest of the world aggressively moves past you. It doesn’t mean you can’t speak up for yourself or that you don’t deserve the respect of others. It simply means you’re confident in who you are in Christ and can walk humbly in the power of the Holy Spirit.

When you lead a humble life for the Lord *|FNAME|* , you enable Him to lift you.  You let Him do your talking, fighting, and promoting. Who better to represent you? As a humble believer, you think of others before yourself because you understand Christ is taking care of all your needs.  To walk humbly is not the actions of a weak person. It actually shows how strong you really are.

I’m in good hands

Heavenly Father, I present myself humbly before You. I have faith that You will lift me up. I thank You for Your promotion, fighting on my behalf, and protecting me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
