Forget All That

But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
— ISAIAH 43:18 (NLT)

Wherever you find yourself in life, I’m sure you feel like you’ve done a lot. You’ve had some accomplishments, both big and small. You’ve traveled, made good friends, loved, laughed and lived. Or maybe you find yourself in a bit of drought. You look back over your life and find you haven’t done all the things you’ve wanted. You’ve experienced setbacks, defeat and exhaustion. Well, my friend, wherever you find yourself – good or bad – God wants you to forget all that!

The word from God today is to forget about what happened in your past. You may have had some great times and Jesus has really been good to you, but the Lord is saying today to forget all that! You haven’t seen nothing yet. If life has been kicking you in the butt, stop bending over taking it. Stand up straight so you can see the new thing Christ is about to do in your life. Nothing in your past can compare to what He is about to do. And I don’t want you to miss it because you’re focused on what happened yesterday or yester-year. Forget all that! God is about to do a new thing in your life.

It’s a new season

Heavenly Father, You have blessed me indeed and I thank You! I can’t wait until You reveal the new think You’re going to do in my life. It’s a new season, Lord, and I’m ready to receive Your harvest. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
