Every believer should attend Bible Study. Yes, you can study on your own, but it’s great to learn from a pastor who has been called to feed you with knowledge and understanding. I particularly like when my pastor points out little, big things, called nuggets that are so simply, but have great, lifechanging meaning. So, last night during Bible Study, the nugget I received was, are you ready for this? Nowhere in the bible will you find “why” God loves you. He just does!

People may say they love you because of what you’ve done for them. Others may say they love you because you’re nice or you’re fun to be around or because you complete them, but not God. He loves you just because of who you are. God’s love is unconditional. It never waivers when He’s had a bad day because God doesn’t have bad days. Jesus’ love for you doesn’t change when you forget to say thank you. You’re loved in a special way with an everlasting love. You don’t have to worry about it running out or away. You don’t have to worry about messing up and God taking His love back. Want to know why? There is no “why.” He just loves you.
