“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’ And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.”
In today’s scripture, Christ identified a problem. Jesus witness a multitude of people that were weary and in need of healing and He was moved with compassion for them. Jesus turned to His disciples and told them to pray. Guess who became the answer to their prayer? They did! After their prayer, in the very next verse, Jesus gifted them to become the answer to their prayer. He gave them power over unclean spirits and the ability to heal all kinds of sickness and disease.

Whatever you are praying for today, Christ will bless you to become the answer to your prayer. If you find yourself waiting for God to move in your life, you may be waiting on the wrong person to move. God doesn’t have to “work on things” or wait for someone else to OK His blessings. Whatever God says, it’s done in that moment! It’s you and me that must move into action. You are the answer to your prayer. The blessing is already in you. Use it. If you don’t move into action after you pray, how will you know that God has already answered your prayer through you? Step out on faith. Do the impossible. You are the answer.
