The God in People

Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples, and he went to the leading priests and captains of the Temple guard to discuss the best way to betray Jesus to them.
— LUKE 22:3, 4 (NLT)

Trusting in the Lord can be applied to many aspects of our lives. We trust God to bless us with good health. We trust God to keep our minds in perfect peace. We trust God to be faithful and keep His precious promises we find in His word that we’ve hid in our hearts. One area we also have to trust God is to trust the God in people. We have to remember people aren’t evil - even when they do evil things to us. They may be evil doers, but they are capable of repenting just like us.

God allowed Satan to enter one of Jesus’ closest friends. Yes, Judas. He was a disciple of Christ. He was chosen by Jesus, He spent time with Jesus, but when God needed to take Jesus to the next level, He allowed Judas to wickedly betray Christ. Had Judas not done so, the prophecy would not be fulfilled for Christ to die for you and resurrect with all power. In order to be blessed with what God has for you, you may have to endure the wicked, but have no fear, the wicked will be destroyed, your job is to trust in the Lord. He has a planned for you and He can use evil doers to help you fulfill those plans. It may not be comfortable, it may not be desired, but the new you that Christ is leading you to will overshadow the pain you surpassed to become who God says you are.

God will get you there

Heavenly Father, thank You for the plan You have for my life. I know it may not always be comfortable, but You are with me and every day with You is a great day! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
