There are some mean people in this world. I cannot begin to tell you why some people do the things they do. I imagine there is some rule book or playbook mean people have to assist them in governing their meanness because it always seems that they focus their attention on people who are minding their own business. You could be having a great day, just enjoyed a delicious meal, your favorite song that you hadn’t heard in a long time just ended, or you just received some good news through a text message and then here… they… come! Here to ruin everything.

Well, even though they may put forth a good effort to ruin your good day, don’t worry about it. When you find people being mean to you, that just means you’re that much closer to what God has for you. You see, you’re God’s child, and what people mean for evil against you, God will flip it and make good of it for you. So, you don’t have to stress when mean people do mean things. They may form the weapon, but God will not allow it to prosper. You don’t have to stoop to their level. You don’t have to check them or correct them. Christ has already blocked it and is working everything out for your good.
