What You Put Out

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
— MATTHEW 7:12 (NIV)

As believers, we must make sure we acknowledge Jesus in everything we do. The world will coin catchy catchphrases that can take praise away from our Lord and Savior. For example, the world will have us believe a little cricket on our shoulder (or conscience) whispers in our ear to tell us right from wrong. No, my friend. That’s the Holy Spirit. Another example is the belief in the law attraction where whatever vibe or thought, positive or negative, we put out into the “universe” is what we get back. Again, it’s not the “universe” that answers prayer, but the maker of the universe that does.

Jesus says what you put out into the world is what you get back. It’s not “karma.” It’s scripture. If you feel your family needs more peace, put peace into your family. If you feel your community needs more love, put more love into your community. In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you and God will take care of the rest. Adopting this lifestyle will alleviate stress and mess from your life. Why? Because you have chosen to rely on God’s Word and live godly. So, as ambassadors for Christ, be mindful of what you put out into the world. It makes all the difference.

It’s all God

Heavenly Father, in everything I will do to others what I would have them do to me. I choose to rely on Your Word and not the ways of this world. I give You the praise and all the honor. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
