A God Who Listens

I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.
— PSALM 116:1 – 2 (NIV)

Ever feel like your voice didn’t matter? Have you ever felt like no one knows how you feel? You’ve even become immune to your own feelings. When someone asks you, “How are you doing?” you simply reply, “Fine.” And you know what? You are “fine.” Fine = Feelings I’m Not Expressing.

When you feel no one else will listen or no one understands what you’re dealing with or going through, turn to your Heavenly Father. You serve a God who listens. He will hear your voice without you having to utter a word. He will hear your cry for mercy and console you beyond measure. The Lord of Host will turn His ear to you whenever you call on Him. Run into His arms and feel the love and comfort that only Christ can supply. Leave your problems at His alter and take His yoke upon you. You’re not alone. Whatever you’re facing, God knows about it and knows you can and will make it through.

God loves you
