Second Wind

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.
— HEBREWS 10:35 – 36 (NIV)

During my work out yesterday morning, I began to struggle. It was within the first five minutes that I wanted to decrease the speed of my treadmill, but I told myself, if I can get past the first five minutes it’ll become easier. Sure enough, my body began to adjust to the current speed, I got my second wind, my breathing became synced with my stride, and I was no longer struggling. I encouraged myself by remembering if I kept up this routine, I would achieve my health goals.
