We face a tremendous amount of outside forces every day. These forces can influence how we respond verbally, mentally or physically. They can affect whether we have a good day or an “I shouldn’t have gotten out of bed” day. No matter the forces that confront us today, know that we have a choice in how we react to them. We can give into what the flesh desires or we can take on the mindset of Christ and live according to what the Spirit desires.

The first thing to remember is that you are in control. You have a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. The next thing to make note of is the spiritual warfare you take part in every single day. Spirits influence all the people giving you a hard time at work, the person flipping you off in traffic, the mean worker ringing up your groceries, or your significant other when they’re making life a tad bit more difficult. Don’t allow your flesh to take over. Instead, respond with the Spirit of Christ. Become the light in dark places. Submit to what the Spirit desires and take back what the devil is trying to steal from you.
