People have been known to do some pretty amazing things to get ahead in life. Backstab, steal, jump through hoops, favors they aren’t proud of to share, among many of things. The American dream is believed to be unachievable without stepping on the backs of others. It’s often said in order for people to honor or respect you, you have to have money and power. Well, what if I told you, you have all those things at your fingertips and that you could gain them without doing any wrong to anyone?

True honor comes from the Ruler of all things. God. When you live a life pleasing to God, it is He who will bless you with wealth and honor. It is God who will crown you with a strength and power that no one or no circumstance can take away from you. You don’t have to compromise your beliefs to get ahead at your job. Promotion does not come from the east or west, but from God! You don’t have to look down on others or treat people bad to showcase strength or power. Jesus says the meek shall inherit the earth. And the last time I checked, the Ruler of all things is the only one able to deliver on such a gift. Therefore, seek to please God and not people. For it is only God that can supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
