Never Sent Alone

The One who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.
— JOHN 8:29 (NIV)

I’ve worked for the same company for seven years. It has it’s ups and downs like any corporation. I get along well with most of my colleagues and the job keeps me pretty busy. When I first started, I was new to what was being asked of me. I had never done it before and didn’t know what I needed. Luckily, I had a good boss. I needed a desk to do my job. He got me one. I needed a laptop to do my job. He ordered me one. I needed a mobile phone, business cards and training. He arranged all that and lined up people to help me along the way to being successful at my job. If my earthly boss took care of my needs, how much more will the Boss of all bosses do?

When God sends you on a new job (your purpose), He will never send you alone. He will make sure you have everything you need to be successful. He will make sure you meet the right people, with the right resources, while you’re doing what pleases Him. You may not even know what you need to do what Christ has sent you to do, but don’t let that stop you. Just step out on faith and go! As you go, the Holy Spirit will go with you, Jesus will go before you and God is already there waiting for you. Whatever God has for you, go get it! He’ll never send you alone.

I want to please Him
