Be The Voice

The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
— PROVERBS 29:7 (NIV)

Scripture says we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. So, when we find ourselves in a good place in life, everything is going great in our homes, things on the job couldn’t be better and we’re the perfect picture of health, that’s not a time for us to pat ourselves on the back. Nope! That’s the time God wants us to be the voice for those without a voice.

As a righteous believer, you have to care about justice for the poor. And let me remind you, poor isn’t limited to a financial status. Someone you know is poor in spirit and needs a word of encouragement. Someone near you has a poor outlook on life and needs godly direction from you. At times, you will have to be the voice of God over the wickedness of this world and join your brother or sister in their spiritual battle. God made you strong so you can help someone else become strong. Be like Christ today and be filled with compassion. Emulate Jesus and care about justice for the poor. Utilize the Holy Spirit inside you to speak up and be the voice for those in need.

Heavenly Father, I care about justice for the poor. I will not stand silent while the wicked show no concern. I will be caring and compassionate and be the voice of encouragement to those in need. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
