Break The Ropes

Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
— PSALM 119:61 (NIV)

There are 7.442 billion people and let’s face it, some of them are doing bad things. Unfortunately, some of these bad things happen to us every once in a while and the amount of discomfort, damage or pain they cause varies. Someone can steal the life of our loved one. Someone can steal our car.  Someone can steal our favorite seat. Someone can even try to steal our sanity.

As much as you want to get back at these people for their actions, you have to remember what Christ wants you to do. Jesus wants you to bless those that curse you. He wants you to pray for those who spitefully use you. Remember, your fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the world. Allow the Holy Spirit to remind you of GOD’s law and not the vengeful law of man. Only light can drive out darkness. Only love can drive out hate. Only the Jesus in you can drive out the devil in this world. Don’t allow Satan’s ropes to bind you from doing right by GOD.

Thou art loosed!

Heavenly Father, though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law. Protect me from the evil in this world. I will bless those that curse me. I will pray for those who spitefully use me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
