“May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”
As believers, we’re supposed to unselfishly do the good works of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In good weather or bad. When we want to and the times we want a break. In season and out of season. When we feel appreciated for our good deeds and those times we go unnoticed. The reward for our good deeds and words is the blessings we received in the opportunity and ability we’re given in serving our GOD, but every once in a while, it would be nice to hear the words, “Thank you!”

So, to you, my friend, who works tirelessly and gives all your time, energy, money and love to grow God’s kingdom in your home, church, and community, I want to say, “Thank you!” and your faithfulness is appreciated. You may not get the accolades you’d like from those around you, but your acts of love are needed and necessary. I want to encourage your heart to keep living for the Lord as He strengthens you in every good deed and word. Don’t stop. Don’t give up. Don’t grow tired. You are blessed to be able to contribute to GOD’s people in the manner in which you do and we are blessed because of it.
