You have an evening program at the church. You have to exercise in the morning. You work 45+ hours a week. You have to go grocery shopping. Your car needs gas. Your friend needs a ride. Your bills are due. You have to meet with someone about something sometime today. Let’s face it. You have a lot going on and you may have forgotten one important thing… to talk with God.

So… I want you to take a minute after reading this and have a little talk with Jesus, but in this conversation, don’t ask for anything. Just take a moment to tell God who He is to you. Tell the Lord you love Him. Tell Him He’s your strength, your rock, your fortress, and deliverer. Thank Him for being your shield, horn of salvation and stronghold. Recall those times you sought refuge in Him and tell Him all about it. Your day is full, I’m sure, but take just a little time to tell God - and to remind yourself - who He is. I’ll help you start!
