Take A Chance

‘I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.’
— GENESIS 28:15 (NIV)

In order to be successful in life, you may have to experience failure before you succeed. There are several quotes to support this idea. Winston Churchill said, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” Colin Powell once said, “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” So, in short, in order to make an omelet, you have to break some eggs.

To obtain success in life, it is inevitable and necessary that some mistakes are made or some sacrifices must occur. It can be scary. It can be uncomfortable. But don’t be afraid to take a chance and try something new in life. God didn’t give you the spirit of fear. Know that God is with you and will watch over you wherever you go. He will not leave you until He has done what He has promised you. He promised to prosper you and not to harm you. He promised to give you hope and a future. If you make a mistake, it’s OK. If you fail the first time, don’t give up. Nothing beats a failure, but a try. Don’t hesitate. Leap! Have faith in your spiritual safety net, take a chance in life, and give it all you’ve got! God is with you.

Heavenly Father, I am going to step out in faith and achieve the impossible knowing that You are with me and watching over me wherever I go. You said that You would not leave me until You have done what You have promised me and I claim that promise right now! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
