My Daily Routine

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’
— JEREMIAH 29:11 (NIV)

Ever have moments when you wonder, “What am I supposed to be doing with my life?” It’s easy to get caught up in your routine of going to school or work, doing chores, and trying to get to bed on time only to repeat yesterday. Days that pass by become months that fly past, birthdays become revolving doors, and before you know it, there will be Christmas decorations in the mall again! However, as I celebrate my birthday today, and in the midst of executing my daily routine, I’m making a conscious effort to remember God has a plan for me.

Instead of becoming trapped in your daily routine, remember God has a plan for you. In this plan for you, there’s prosperity, protection, hope, and destiny and one way God wants to expose you to His plan is through you helping and blessing others. Looking for ways to bless others will break up the monotony of your daily routine. As you help restore hope in the lives of others, God will open doors and place vast opportunities in your path. With this new outlook, your daily routine can become a new adventure every day while seeking opportunities to help change the lives of others. You’ll no longer ask, “What am I supposed to be doing with my life,” but instead, “What else can I do with my life?”
