Holy In His Sight

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation— if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.
— COLOSSIANS 1:21 – 23 (NIV)

There’s an old saying to “Never judge a book by its cover.” Unfortunately, the world we live in suffers from prejudice and lack of compassion. It will have you believe things about yourself that are in direct conflict with what GOD says you are. This world can be trying. It can test your faith. It can make you forget that you are reconciled with GOD through Christ and holy in His sight.

When you live by faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel, you are presented holy in God’s sight, without blemish and free from accusation. The world will try to remind you of who you once were or convince you there is no GOD, but where you were once enemies with GOD because of your wrong doings and sinful behavior, you are now reconciled with GOD through His Son, Jesus Christ. You are holy. You have been freed from sin. You are a new creation. Your old things have passed away and Jesus has made everything new for you. Do not walk in your former darkness, but keep the faith and continue to walk in GOD’s light.

Be ye holy…

Heavenly Father, thank You for reconciling me with You through Your Son, Jesus. I am not who or what the world says I am, but I am holy in Your sight. I am without blemish. I am free from accusation. I will continue in my faith, established and firm, and not move from the hope of the gospel. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
