In 2010, one of the most irritating commercials was released to television. (The fact that I remember it means that it got its point across.) It was the Everest College commercial. Remember? The obnoxious guy who interrupted The Maury Show saying, “You’re sitting on your coach, watching TV, doing nothing…” Then at one point while encouraging you to “...do something with your future” and register for classes, he yells out, “What are you waiting for? It’s easy! It’s easy.” As much as that 30 second commercial bothered me, he had a good point…

Are you sitting at home doing nothing? Could your life be drastically better or maybe even a little better? Is the world having its way with you, tossing you to and fro? Why is this happening when you have the power of the Holy Spirit? When Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave you the power of the Holy Spirit to be His witness. As His witness, you have been given full access to Jesus power. Have you been showing the world what this power is capable of? If not… What are you waiting for? Today, make a point to do the impossible. Move a mountain. Forgive someone that hurt you. Be the miracle that someone’s life so desperately needs. Stop smoking, drinking or cursing. Change your life by being Christ’s witness to the world. So… What are you waiting for? It’s easy! It’s easy.
