Stay Thirsty My Friend

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
— PSALM 63:1 (NIV)

We live in a morally dry world. Unconditional love is drying up because we refuse to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Hope is becoming lost and challenged daily as members of different races struggle to co-exist. Every day, more and more people are turning away from GOD and towards this parched land where Living Water is not sought after. There is a distinct need for GOD’s church to lead others in seeking the Lord, but we have to lead by example.

My friend, as you seek GOD, others around you will notice on the outside the change that’s taking place on your inside. Keep desiring to know more about GOD. Keep thirsting after His righteousness. Keep wanting and longing to be with Christ as He reveals His plan and purpose for you. And don’t stop when He blesses you. Jesus has a lot more in store for you. Stay thirsty my friend and continue to seek Him earnestly. Be the example our parched land needs. Introduce them to the Living Water, where they will thirst no more.

Heavenly Father, You, are my God, and I will earnestly seek you. I thirst for You, my whole being longs for You, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. You are the Living Water! Blessed are You! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
