And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
Ever notice when you just want to be left alone or have a quiet evening, you get calls and text and everything else from people asking you to do stuff? Let’s face it. We all have times we want to be by ourselves or know someone (or groups of people) we’d rather not have to deal with, but if we’re not careful, we may miss a God opportunity to be blessed.
People need people to feel a part of God’s love that we cannot experience, find, or substitute with anything else. When you come together with the Lord’s holy people, He distributes power and a love that surpasses knowledge (and you don’t get to determine who’s “holy” or not). When you come together, by Christ’s design, It is then you will be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Sure, you need time to yourself and it’s good to be alone sometimes, but you also need time to interact with people. God said where there’s unity, He would command His blessing there. So get there and prepare to be blessed!
