Help God's People

God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.
— HEBREWS 6:10 (NIV)

Ever feel like the things you do go unnoticed or unappreciated? If you’re like me, the answer is yes. I feel I’ve done and sacrificed a lot for the benefit of others only to be treated less than. The hurt I endured from my experience pushed me closer to God and helped me remember what I do isn’t for people to say, “Good job,” but for God to say, “Well done.”

When others forget the work you’ve done, know that God will not forget.  If you feel underappreciated, understand that God appreciates you. God wants you to show your love Him by loving others and continuing to help them. It may be hard dealing with difficult, selfish, and sometimes ungrateful people, but once you really grasp the idea that you’re loving them through God’s love for you, the task becomes easier. So, if you’re still breathing, Jesus wants you to keep doing what you’re doing for Him, only better than the day before. He won’t forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you help His people and continue to do so.

God sees you

Heavenly Father, thank You for not being an unjust God and not forgetting my work. I will show I love You by loving Your people. Give me the strength to accept the things I cannot change. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
