“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you...”
God gave us the power to speak life into our situations. He provides numerous examples throughout scripture of this power and its infinite capacity. When God created the earth, He spoke it into existence. When God wanted light, He spoke to the darkness. When land was covered with waters, He called the earth from its drowned state. In fact, even when storms were raging, Jesus spoke to the winds and caused them to calm. If the Godhead didn’t like the present condition of something, He changed it, but it all started with saying it.
You have problems in your marriage. You have more debt than income. You don’t see success on your path. You’re worried about your health. You can’t kick an old habit or addiction. You’re experiencing bad relationship after bad relationship. Loneliness. Emptiness. Doubt. Fear. You don’t have to accept the darkness, drowning waters, or storms raging in your life. Declare victory over them and it will be established! Turn your words, thoughts, and focus from how it is to how it should be and God will reveal to you the good work He’s prepared for you. The abundant life God has for you is for you, but it all starts with you saying it!
