Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t always the most popular decision. Not going with the flow or falling in line can ostracize you, hinder relationships, or even prevent a promotion you’re deserving of. It’s a lot easier to just turn a blind eye and ignore the fact that you know right from wrong, but what if Jesus did the same?
When it feels that the world has turned its back on you for your choice of doing the right thing, remember that you are aligning yourself with God’s agenda to receive a godly blessing. Like Christ, you will suffer at the hand of man, but with Christ, no weapon formed against you will prosper. It won’t feel good to be passed up or shunned, but know promotion doesn’t come from the east or west. Strive for God’s approval and promotion. Press harder toward the high calling of Jesus Christ. Do not quench the Holy Spirit inside of you that reminds you of the greater good.
