ALL YOUR MIGHT

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
— ECCLESIASTES 9:10 (NIV)

God did not intend for us to spend eternity on earth. He only loaned us to the world for a specific length of time for a specific purpose. It’s sad, but a lot of people never discover that purpose and lead dissatisfied lives of unhappiness, worry, with a lack of productivity. It’s not what Christ wants for you. He wants you to have life, and life more abundantly!

Yes, you have responsibilities that only you can handle, like your children, your job, paying bills, etc., but take time to smell the roses – while you can. Don’t work so much that you forget to enjoy the life God has given you. Whatever you’re gifted to do, do it with all your might. By working in your gifted area and living the life God has designed for you, you will discover the joy God and blessings He’s prepared for you. He doesn’t want you stressed. He can’t use you while you’re focused on worry.  When you make living for God a priority, He places everything else in order and removes your worry, your stress, and lack of productivity.  Jesus wants you to live life with all your might and place the meaningless things out of sight, so you can see the good He has for you.
