Now, don’t go crazy and say, “Van said I don’t need no pastor!” That’s not what I’m saying at all. You still need pastors, teachers, and godly leaders to feed you with knowledge and understanding. What I am saying is that you don’t have to wait until Sunday to talk to or hear from God. You don’t have to wait until prayer service to have someone pray over you. It does feel nice to have someone pray with you, but sometimes you and God need to talk at a red light, in a grocery line, or in the midnight hour. Because of Jesus, you have this ability to hear from God and go to God. Need to be shown great and mighty things you don’t know? Go to God. Need to be forgiven for your sin? Go to God. Need healing? Go to God. Questions about your next move in life? Go to God. Don’t wait for a certain day to hear from God. Try it now.
