“If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?”
It’s easy to love those who love you back. It’s not really difficult to give to those who give back to you or to give to a charity where you see your giving at work. But what about giving to someone who can’t give back to you. What about loving someone who hasn’t a reason to love you other than the kindness you share with them. This is the love of Christ that we all possess, which allows you and me to love without boundaries.

Jesus loved everyone and everyone that encountered Him felt His love. He didn’t give God’s love just to His disciples. Christ loved without boundaries. He loved those who others did not love. He gave to those that weren’t able to give back. And because of this, God rewarded Jesus immensely and He wants to do the same for you today. Extend your love beyond those who love you. Increase your hospitality to reach further than the people you know. As a follower of Christ, look for opportunities to do more than what others are doing. As you become a blessing to others, you will grow closer to your reward.
