“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings.”
The world can prove to be a scary place at times. There are spiritual battles you have to face day in and day out. You may become overwhelmed when evil appears in your life, but don’t give up hope. When the freed Israelites were being tracked down by Pharoah and his army, they became afraid. They were terrified as the Egyptians marched toward them and cried out to Moses. Moses answered, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Remember God said your battles belong to Him. You serve a Lord who is your refuge and your strength. He promised to be a very present help in your time of trouble. You have no reason to be afraid when evil appears at your door because you already have the victory in Jesus! Stand firm in your faith and you will see the Lord deliver you today. The evil you face today you will never see again.
