“God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”
There’s no limit to what God can do! He created heaven and earth. He gives life and inspiration. He saves, heals, and delivers. He gives, takes, and sustains. God is just awesome in every way! But in all His infinite power and majesty, there are two things God can’t do: lie or change His mind. And you know what? I’m ok with that!
When God created you to do all things through Christ Jesus, He wasn’t lying about that. When God gave you dominion and made you the head and not the tail, He hasn’t taken that back. When He said you are more than a conqueror, He didn’t say, “Nah! I was just playing.” You are who He created you to be. You can choose to accept it or do something else crazy with your life, but God hasn’t changed His mind about you. He predestined you to be great and do miraculous things. He created you to be above only and never beneath. God created you in His image and He loves you. There’s no taking that back. God chose you and made plans to prosper you and not harm you. He promised you hope and a future. And you know what? He hasn’t changed His mind.
God said it. That settles it!
