“He replied, ‘You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?’”
We’d love for life to be blue birds chirping and Mr. Sunshine shining on our shoulders every day, but that’s not always the story. Sometimes, trouble really does have your name on it. But the good thing about experiencing trouble when you’re in God’s will is that He always has a way for you to escape.
When God allows trouble in your life, it doesn’t mean He loves you less. It means He’s preparing you. He’s molding, breaking, and sculpting you into a new you that can handle the next level of blessings He has for you. No matter what trouble you are experiencing, know that you are still in God’s hands of protection. He’ll never give you more than you can handle. You may feel like you’re going through pure hell some days, but if the devil could kill you, he would have done it by now. Strengthen your faith by recalling all the tough times Jesus has seen you through in past situations. I don’t believe He’s brought you this far to leave you.
