“But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.’”
Your hair may not be as straight as hers or your shoulders as broad as his, but you know what? It doesn’t matter.
When God created you, He prepared you to successfully walk in your purpose. It doesn’t matter what you look like. God sees your heart. The Lord instructed Samuel to look past the appearance of Jesse’s sons when they were presented to be anointed. Jesse omitted his small-in-stature son, David, from the presentation, but David was the one God anointed to be king. So, be encouraged. Know that it does not matter what you look like, God has a purpose for you. You are anointed to be the royalty He created you to be. And even when you’re passed over by people, know that God has not passed over you. He sees your heart and He sees you created perfect in His hand.
