“So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, ‘As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand.’”
Are you prepared to receive the breaking out power of God? God wants to release you from your enemy today. As you go into battle, remember you fight not against flesh and blood, but the spiritual forces of evil and anything that tries to raise its ugly head against the power of God. Don’t hate your brother in Christ, but destroy the spirit of division that’s trying to come between you. Don’t disown your sister in Christ, but rebuke the spirit of gossip and backbiting that has consumed her. Scripture compares God’s power to the power of water. Just as water has power to destroy, it also has the power to restore life. As God grants you break out power over your enemy, be sure you are using it in a manner pleasing to Him.
