A God of Results

You know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not without results.
— 1 Thessalonians 2:1 (NIV)

At one point in my life, I found that I was almost in church seven days a week. Sunday and Wednesday were for worship and bible study, respectively, but the other days were for meetings. Some of these meetings were very productive and we accomplished a lot, but some I feel were just kept because they were on the church’s calendar. It is important as believers that we are good stewards concerning our time. It is counterproductive to meet just to be meeting. Whenever we come together to discuss kingdom business, it is essential that we are achieving God results. Be sure during your meetings the vision is clear enough for believers to run and do it. Set goals that are bigger and beyond your ability so that the need of the Holy Spirit is apparent. Faith without works is dead, and so is a meeting without results.

Heavenly Father, I will be productive and yield God results to glorify Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
