“Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.”
You possess one of the most powerful tools in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ – your testimony. When God allows you to experience levels of discomfort in life, it’s for two reasons. One, to grow and strengthen you, and two, to grow and strengthen the body of Christ. The obstacles and hurdles you go through are for you, but your testimony is for others to witness how God delivered you so that they might be encouraged. When someone loses a job, they can recall how you continued to praise God when you lost yours. When others are brokenhearted, they can find healing in the example you gave through sharing your story.
It’s all in God’s plan. Don’t be afraid to share your story. You’ll never know who’s listening and whose life it may save.
