Mirror, Mirror

God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
— John 3:17 (MSG)

Mirrors have many different applications. In vehicles, they help you navigate safely in traffic. In science, they help adjust light in microscopes to improve the study of an object. In healthcare, they assist the dentist in seeing the back of a patient’s teeth. Some decors use mirrors to make a smaller room appear larger. One of the most common uses is to view your own reflection and make corrections. If you’re getting dressed, applying make-up, or shaving, having a mirror improves your outcome by showing you any imperfections so you can easily correct them.

God sent His son, Jesus, to be your mirror. God’s intent was never to tell you how wrong or bad you are, but to love you, give you salvation, and an example of how to live life. Just like the mirror, Jesus will show you how to navigate life safely. He will shed His light on subjects for you to observe clearly. He will assist you in seeing things you normally wouldn’t see without Him. Most importantly, He will show you an improved you!

 I can see clearly now

Thank You God for sending Your Son Jesus not to condemn me, but to correct me. Thank You for the example of Your Son, which guides me through life and gives me hope. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
— This is my prayer
