Have You Seen Him?

…I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne…Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’
— Isaiah 6:1-8 (NIV)

Have you ever read a good book or seen a good movie that left you excited about life? Whether the book inspired you or the movie opened your mind to a new world, your life was changed forever because of your experience.

When this happens, we share with our families and friends how much we enjoyed reading the book, or how they should go see the movie before it’s no longer available in theaters. But, if a best selling novel or an Academy award winning movie experience can change your life, imagine what truly experiencing God through worship can do.

When you worship God, He wants you to see Him for everything that He is, and to experience all the love He has for you. Seeing Him high and exalted, seated on a throne, motivates us remove anything that does not agree with God. Then, we are able to hear His voice and accept the next assignment He has for us.

God is always talking to us. We, however, may not always be at a place in our lives where we can hear Him. But, when we identify things that block us from hearing Him, He is willing to cleanse us, put us back on the right track, and send us to do His work.

Yep! He’s just that good!

Heavenly Father, I see You and honor You for all that You are. I worship You in spirit and in truth. Thank You for cleansing me of my unrighteousness and using me to do Your Kingdom work. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
— This is my prayer
