The Perfect Plan

I slipped out during the night, taking only a few others with me. I had not told anyone about the plans God had put in my heart for Jerusalem.
— Nehemiah 2:12 NLT

Sometimes it’s hard for us to keep something good to ourselves. If you find a new restaurant with really good food, you probably will tell your friends. Or, if you thought the movie you went to Friday night was exciting, you might recommend it with a hash tag. I’ve even had someone call me to tell me a gas station’s price per gallon was cheaper on the side of town they were on.

While those examples are things we regularly share, some good things are left best unsaid. When God shares His plan for us, He does not always want us to shout it from the mountaintops. At times, what He tells us is for us only, and for good reason. At times, others will say the things God tells you to do are impossible. Or, they’ll say it’s not the right time. Maybe they’ll say you’re not qualified, or it’s too big for you. There’s always a possibility of someone trying to alter the plan God designed for you, or influence you otherwise.

The plan God placed in your heart is perfect for you. Confide in Him your fear, doubt, or hesitation, and allow Jesus to replace them with courage, peace, and motivation. It’s never too late to change your career or go back to school. Begin writing the book God placed in your heart. Start the business you always dreamed of as a child.

God’s plan is perfect and He will place people in your life to help you complete His plan. You only need to believe and start.

I love when a plan comes together

Thank You God for the plan You have for my life. I will trust in You and listen for Your voice. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
— This is my prayer
