“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
Raising children provides life lessons on a regular basis. Sometimes after interacting with my kids, I call my mom and apologize for what I must have put her through! The most frustrating lessons are when I try to use my experiences to teach my kids not to make the same mistakes I did. I explain that the way I’m guiding them is for their own good and will prove to be easier. Nevertheless, 9 times out of 10 they still go about it their own way, only to find out I was right and could have saved them some time and stress if they’d listened to my instructions.
As a child of God, Jesus will instruct and teach you the way you should go in life. And when you choose to go about handling a situation your own way, He’ll be there to counsel you with His love and get you back on track. After all, He’s already given you an expected end, so He’s seen it before. He knows where you should go and what you should do. Jesus holds the answers you’ve been searching for. Save time and stress by accepting His instructions and use His teachings to navigate your life. You’ll be glad you listened!

“Heavenly Father, thank You for instructing me and teaching me the way I should go. You said you would counsel me with Your loving eye on me. I accept Your guidance today and will walk in Your counsel. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
