“Jesus answered, ‘If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.’”
What Jesus has for you is special. There’s no need to be jealous of how He blesses others around you or to be worried that He will run out of blessings when you finally make it to the front of the line. Jesus is infinite in power and commands a multitude of blessings in one hand alone. With these blessings, Christ is mindful of you and knows what you need and when you need it.
When you try to keep up with the Joneses or turn your attention from what God has to see what your neighbor has, you stop following Him. Instead, when Jesus blesses a believer with a new home, rejoice with them. If God heals their body, join in praise with them. When Christ blesses others, let it increase your faith instead of question it. What God has for you is for you. Continue to follow Him and don’t let go until He blesses you again, and again, and again, and again…

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing my neighbor. I will rejoice and praise Your holy name for the wonders You are working in the lives of those around me. I will continue to follow You and focus on the blessings You have for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
