“Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that He may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for He will forgive generously.”
God gives everyone an opportunity to repent. He wants everyone to change their ways, and even their thoughts of evil, to a lifestyle reflective of His love, kindness, and compassion. And when people make this decision to change their ways, the Lord has mercy on them and forgives them generously. The same manner in which God forgives us He wants us to forgive others. It’s because of God’s mercy that we aren’t consumed, and this same mercy is offered to all that turn to our generous God. Let’s be intentional about showing others mercy and forgiveness. This is the way of our Lord, and it is what the world needs today.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. I will follow Your example and offer mercy and forgiveness to others exemplifying Your generosity and love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
