“Do everything without complaining and arguing…”
If you’ve been an adult for a while, you’ve probably realized that you have to do a lot of things you don’t necessarily want to. Whether it’s preparing meals or driving to work in ten feet of snow or waking up early to exercise or staying up late to get your homework assignment complete, you know you have to, but you really, really rather not. When this spirit sneaks into your day of activities, remember Christ wants you do everything without complaining and arguing. If you complain, you may miss the blessing or lesson Jesus has prepared to groom and grow you to the next level. Try not to get stuck in the activity by realizing the blessing in the activity. After all, where has complaining gotten anyone?

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with the ability to complete every activity You have placed before me today. I will do everything without complaining and arguing knowing You have prepared more for me than I can see. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
