“If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.”
People can be so messy when it comes to dealing with conflict and resolution. I’m sure you know someone that was upset with another person and told everyone how upset they were except the person they were actually upset with. And nine times out of time, the person they were upset with probably didn’t even know they were upset! As believers, we have to set the example. Jesus says to go to the person you have issue with in private and tell them how you are offended. If the person listens and admits their wrong, then everyone wins. Be quick to seek ways to gain a friend rather than create an enemy.

Heavenly Father, I will obey Your command in times of conflict and hurt. I will seek to gain a brother or sister by discussing my concern rather than make an enemy by holding a grudge. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
