“Then at last everyone will say, ‘There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.’”
With great power comes great responsibility. God has given each one of us gifts to be successful in the purpose in which He created us. Often, we will witness people squander their power and gifts and misuse what God has given them for selfish gain. We see some politicians, leaders, teachers, and even clergy remain silent in times where their voices or deeds could make a difference. As difficult as it may be to judge, we have to remember why God called us and the mission He’s given us.

The more you focus on what others aren’t doing or “should be” doing, the more you are taken away from perfecting the purpose Christ has placed over your life. God rewards you for how you live for Him and not how others live for Him. Allow God to be God and take care of those other folks. That’s His business. Your reward is in how you take care of your business. And when you do, you’ll shine your light that will influence others to live for God and receive their reward.
