There have been days where I’ve looked back over my life and thought about all the things I didn’t get right. I recall the mistakes I’d made, the multitude of hurtful things I’ve said, and even the many, many decisions I’m not very proud of. I realized one day that God doesn’t want me to sit and ponder over those things. The devil wants me paralyzed by my past. Jesus wants me to realize He’s blessed me with another day to get it right.

Whether you messed up five years ago or made a huge mistake last year or even if it was yesterday, Jesus wants to cleanse you from your old sin and give you another opportunity to get it right. And the great thing about this God given opportunity is you don’t have to wait. There’s no trial period. You can go to God right now and get it right. Stop listening to Satan and listen to your Heavenly Father. You can turn it around today. This minute! You can be cleansed from your old sin. You can be whole. You can be free!
